7 Easy Ways to Upgrade PS3 Hard Disk

Prepare the 2.5" Hard Disk. If you don't have it, simply buy it~!!

Let's begin~!! Yosh~!!


Step 1:


Make your backup with the "backup utility". To avoid any data corruption or lost, we recommend you to use 8GB Thumbdrive and above.

Step 2:

Look at the left-side of your PS3, remove the plastic HDD side panel and remove the screw...

Step 3:

Slide out the HDD....

Step 4:

Remove the screws that hold the HDD to the tray.

Step 5:

Swap in the new drive, and insert the new HDD into your PS3...

Step 6:

Snap the side panel back onto the system..

Step 7:

Then load up the PS3 backup utility to restore data from your external storage device back onto the PS3 hard drive...
